My first showing was a series of misadventures involving a sick client, a GPS that died on a stretch of Texas farmland, and a stray dog that traumatized everyone involved. (Great story, not for now.) Suffice it to say I moved on, fueled by burnt office coffee and rookie chutzpah, to build my own brand and close more than double the national average for deals closed by agents in their first year.
Later I moved to Virginia Beach and became Marketing Coordinator for a real estate team. It wasn't long before other agents — struggling to find truly mindful, modern branding with 1:1 support — started contacting me about my work. Meanwhile, I longed for life beyond the cubicle.
And BLUEPRINT was born.
I worked out of our spare bedroom for months before taking the plunge to quit my 9-5 and make the studio my focus. I focused on a few key clients who put trust into my company and made sure not to let them down.
Along the way, I shared project stories on Instagram...and grew an audience quickly through the sharing. Organically, other Realtors (and whole brokerages) started to take notice of my refined style and strategic, story-driven approach to radical branding excellence in this niche.
Things grew by leaps and bounds and today, not much has changed since those early months. My team and I still share project journeys closely with clients and each other. Working and reworking until we get it just right.
Now based in North Carolina with my engineer husband, Joe, I lead all client projects while managing my small-but-mighty BLUEPRINT team in a remote collaborative space.
When I'm not working hard for clients? You'll find me obsessing over paint swatches for my home, clipping overpriced decor inspiration from West Elm, and running after my sweet baby girls, Olivia and Naomi.
