One thing was certain when we began brand strategy development for this Realtor’s identity —— Felicia Grant’s love and passion for the people of Charleston was palpable. For the branding of this authentic, people-first Realtor, a warm approachability with a family-oriented foundation was a must. Enter “Splendor of Charleston”, a proudly charming ode to a beautiful city with sophisticated tones and timeless modern flair.  

The centerpiece of this identity is an elegant, custom script Wordmark. The graceful curvatures and slanted nature of the type lays a regal framework that speaks directly to both the character of the city and Felicia’s elevated level of service. Striking the right balance of contrast within the letterforms themselves was of utmost importance for scaling and legibility. The achieved result is something charming yet functional —— a Wordmark evoking its own special character, allowing Felicia’s brand story to sparkle and energize at every turn. 

We wanted to reinforce Felicia’s brand identity with another unexpected, spirited layer. For this, we hand painted a custom brushed ‘Splendor’ pattern, utilizing the Wordmark as the centerpiece for this artful twist. Distinguished with charisma and style, this became the perfect complement to the classic set of marks and elements in her brand. 

Supporting the script typography is a versatile sans serif font that is both minimalist and flexible. Together, a tone of refinement and timelessness is struck. The suite of brand marks and signature elements that follow are both grand yet practical —— honoring the charm of the city while designing a serviceable brand that markets well to all audiences seeking trustworthy, compassionate, and professional real estate care.
